WARDOGS in one paragraph
WARDOGS is BULKHEAD’s tactical take on large-scale multiplayer warfare. Up to 100 players split across three teams and fight for a randomized Control Zone using infantry weapons, vehicles, logistics, fortifications and environmental destruction.
The persistent cash system
Players start with $10,000 and buy a custom loadout for each life. Team actions such as reviving allies, transporting players and controlling the objective reward cash. The balance persists between matches, making equipment and vehicle purchases longer-term decisions.
Where WARDOGS sits as a shooter
Official video material repeatedly pushes back on calling WARDOGS a Battlefield killer. BULKHEAD describes it as its own thing: responsive enough to play clearly, but tactical enough that travel time, cash risk, no squad spawning, weapon handling, penetration, ricochet and paid loadouts create friction.
For readers comparing WARDOGS to Battlefield, Squad, Arma or extraction shooters, the clean answer is that WARDOGS borrows recognizable ideas but organizes them around three-team objective fighting and persistent money.

What Steam currently calls the Early Access state
Steam’s September listing describes the Early Access version as a fully playable expression of the core vision: 100-player three-team battles, dynamic objectives, Cash and XP progression, gunplay, vehicles, logistics, support play and proximity voice chat. It also explicitly says balance, features and polish will continue to change.
