WARDOGS has launched
The Steam listing and Team17 page confirm that WARDOGS is available in Early Access. The official launch-trailer description gives September 10, 2026 at 16:00 UTC as the global launch time; that is September 11 at 00:00 in China Standard Time.
The old pre-order and beta-access window is no longer the way to join the current game. Use Steam to purchase and install WARDOGS, then check the server and troubleshooting guides if needed.
Early Access is not version 1.0
The game is playable, but the complete future metagame and planned content must not be described as finished. No exact version 1.0 release date is confirmed by the reviewed sources.
Console window and post-launch updates
The September 10 official trailer announces consoles in 2028, without an exact day or a crossplay commitment. The September 12 update discusses server-browser work and upcoming community features; it does not announce that Season 2 is already available.
