Does the console announcement confirm crossplay?

What changed in the launch trailer

BULKHEAD’s September 10 launch trailer and its accompanying Steam announcement give a 2028 console window. This supersedes the older no-window wording on this site.

The announcement says consoles, without settling every hardware model, edition, exact launch day or crossplay arrangement. Do not turn a year into a guaranteed date for a specific PlayStation or Xbox model.

What can you play now?

Steam lists Windows support and the September 10 Early Access release. Team17 also lists GeForce NOW availability. Cloud streaming is not the same thing as a native console release.

Crossplay and controller support

A console announcement does not establish crossplay. Earlier developer material discussed partial PC gamepad support, but the reviewed launch notice does not provide a new device-by-device support matrix or aim-assist values.
