Choose Official or Community before joining

Official servers and community-hosted servers serve different needs. Community servers have their own operators and rules; read those rules before joining. Do not assume that a modified server advertises an officially supported progression rate.

Patch 0.11 announces separate server browsers for these two choices. At this review the deployment completion is unconfirmed, so your installed client may not yet match the announced layout.

Find a community server and return to it

• After the browser update is available in your client, use Community text search to look for the server name.

• Check the Empty/Full controls and filters when a server seems missing; its absence from a filtered list is not proof it is offline.

• The announced persistent server ID survives map changes and restarts. Save the ID supplied by the operator rather than relying only on similarly named servers.

• Server favourites and priority queues are listed as upcoming, not shipped in this announcement.

Maintenance and login queues are different problems

The September 14 maintenance was scheduled for 08:00 UTC, approximately one hour. Check the official feed for a completion notice; this page is a dated guide, not a green/red uptime dashboard.

A login queue can be an admission-control measure rather than a fault in your installation. During the September 10 hotfix the studio admitted players in batches. Reinstalling the game does not create server capacity. If there is no official incident and only one server fails, compare another server before changing local settings.

Community cash bonus: check the conditions

The Patch 0.11 announcement promises a one-week 5% end-of-match cash bonus for community servers. Do not apply it to every revive, kill or purchase, and do not assume it lasts beyond the announced promotion. The source does not provide an exact expiry timestamp.

BULKHEAD warns against XP-farming servers and economy exploits. Legitimate community play and abusive farming are not interchangeable. Report a suspected exploit rather than reproducing or promoting it.

Playing with friends and choosing a region

Practical suggestion: agree on the same server name and ID, region and rules before attempting to join together. This guide does not promise party placement or automatic assignment to the same faction.

Prefer a suitable connection region when available. BULKHEAD reports an increase in Asian server capacity in the September 12 notice, but that does not guarantee a vacant slot or a particular ping at any moment.

If the list or join attempt still fails

• Confirm you launched the purchased WARDOGS game, not the old WARDOGS Playtest application.

• Check Steam Downloads for a pending game update and read the latest official maintenance notice.

• Record the error wording, client version, server name/ID, region and time before submitting a support report.

• Do not disable anti-cheat or global Windows security to enter a server.
